meh, fell off
Well it had to happen eventually i suppose. Came off the bike on the single track roads near john o groats. I was basically pushed onto the soft verge by an oncoming transit which refused to stop in the passing place. The bike spun on the soft peat and me n her indoors slid in the mud to a stop. Luckily i only bent a brake pedal. The van driver didnt even stop, Neither did a passing biker. 2 Cagers did though to ask if we were ok.
Be safe ladies and gents |

Re: meh, fell off
Bummer, sorry to hear about your off.
Pleased there's neither injury or much damage. |
Re: meh, fell off
The sticky road attack rubber says no! Ha, battlewings next for me, may have saved the embarrassment but i doubt it. Fully loaded the thing just sunk in the mud, slappered a bid and fell over. Reminded of falling off my ktm when i was a kid trying to do wheelies (i couldn't).

Re: meh, fell off
sorry to hear about that - and the reluctance of the other biker to stop.
I generally dont stop for other bikers, but mainly out of personal safety, for one I'm a girl with no mechanical knowledge so unless I can see someone injured/off the bike not moving I'm not going to stop. And a while ago there was a spate of incidents of people flagging down bikers/passing cars and waiting for them to stop, get off/out and then an accomplice nicked their bike/car. I always feel bad for not stopping in situations like yours tho. |
