Today at silverstone

Went to watch Binky and Mr Spiers today at a track day at silverstone.
Here's a few pics...
Not great ones as i couldnt find a place close enough without a fence in the way.

Shouldn't have suggested that corner!! I just wasn't gelling with it, I kept going too quick through the previous left hander and then kept messing up the entry into Luffeild, that compounded with the fact that I ain't very good and can't do right handers.

Tbh mate you was ok, there was quite a few in the inters group doing a hell of a lot worse, i was very dissapointed with a lot of them, a few from novice was loads better, a few straight line junkies i think.
Couldnt believe how many people were missing the apex of that corner by about 20 ft ;)
Speaking from a man who has never been on a track on a bike (yet)

If that was in the advanced group then I would hazard a guess and say that was Tristan Palmer on his British Superstock 1000 BMW S1000RR.

That guy was flying all the time i watched him but there was some other talented people in that group also, there was people that looked as quick as him on that corner but not leant over nowhere near as far :confused:.
I sat on that corner for around 40 mins so watched a fair bit.

There was a South African guy at Croft in July that kept getting a bollocking of his "Team Boss" (read dad) becasue he kept getting his Elbow down and it was costing his dad a fortune in Leathers. Anyone know his name?
