iphone/car stereo - audio interference from engine
I've got my iphone plugged in to the aux input of my car cd player, but I'm constantly get a buzzing through the speakers when the engine is running. It gets louder as the revs go up.
I've done a bit of googling and there are a few solutions, like in-line sound filters, fm transmitters etc. Has anyone had any success with any solution? |

Sounds like you need a supressor, always have the volume turned down on the ipod as well

actuator I think. Or was it some sort of solenoid? Can't remember. But my mum used to have an old Nova that used to play the sound of the engine through the radio, was awesome! (and I'm guessing a similar fault)

If I turn down the music I can hear the revs and hear myself changing gear through the speakers lol
What about this thing? http://www.crutchfield.com/p_127SNI1...r.html?tp=2653 |

That would work. I presume its an aftermarket radio in your car? Maplins will sell supressors to fit on the live feed for your radio, cars years ago always used to do this, modern cars dont do it now so much unless you change the stereo to a cheaper one as they have them built in to the system. |
