I need help with a lockset

I have a K3 2003 SV650 naked. The ignition has been getting progressively worse over the last few months, and oiling the barrel only gave temporary improvement. Today, I can' turn the key in the ignition, so a going to have to bite the bullet and replace it.

My question - does anyone know if a lockset from a 650S will also fit a naked? I have been looking on Ebay, and have found a set at a reasonable price. Second question - will a set off a K6 2006 still be usable on a K3 2003. Does anyone know of visible differences between the 2 - from what I can see on the pictures on Ebay, it seems that the ignition on a 650S seems to be black, where the naked seems to be silver - mine is silver. Any info would be gratefully received, as I really don't want to go to Suzuki, and even the breakers want £100+!! The set on Ebay goes out in 2 hrs, so speedy replies would be especially welcome.
Many thanks

Try giving the bars a wiggle when turning the key. Works for me

If I wiggled any more I could be a member of a boy band!! I have tried wiggling, bouncing it up and down, wobbling the whole bike from side to side - nothing is making any difference, wiggling worked ok for a little while, but I am pretty sure that the barrel is collapsing inside - the tank lock, and seat lock still work with no problem, so it is not the key. Thanks for the tip though......anyone else with any ideas??

03 and 06 appear same cosmetically and in wiring attachment. I also believe S and N models are exchangeable.

Suzukis do need a standard wobble, push key forward very slightly as you turn, this seems to be normal wear. But if it is knackered, it is knackered.
