Steak JD
 

Bought a couple of Sirloins earlier today. Gave them a right good battering with the steak hammer, and then a good stabbing with a BIG fork. Followed that by sticking them in a dish with a good drowning of Jack Daniel's.

Fried up various vegetables.

Got the other frying pan up to glowing so that the outside of the steak would firm up quickly to seal in the flavour (JD).

All washed down with a bottle of Sicilian Merlot :drink:.

Sadly Mrs B had to stay at her mum's. Her mum was released from hospital at 5:30pm, with virtually no notice, even though she's a lot worse than when she went in :smt013.

The dog called Bess loves steak, nom, nom, nom.

As soon as I finish my on-call (Fri) I think I'll treat myself to a JD steak & a bottle or two.
