Leaking oil cooler banjo.
 

Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I've Just noticed a leak from the off side Banjo bolt on the oil cooler on my '54' SV650.

Is this a common fault? Can i just replace the copper washer?

If i need a new banjo, i was wondering were is the best place to get a new one?

Have a word with your local dealer mechanics. I had a leaky oil cooler and they just gave me some crush washers.
Unfortunately, as it happens, it wasn't the crush washers that had failed. Mind you, they are replacing the oil cooler and pipes under warranty.

Well i put new washers on the pipe and it still leaked, so i tighted it up even more and it snapped!!

I've taken the oil cooler off, and it looks like it has corroded. It also has a few cracks in it where the off side Banjo screws in.

So now i need a new banjo and an oil cooler, i've looked on ebay and there is a few but does it matter about the years as mine is an 04 and there is loads of other year ones.

Any would be great as i really need to get it back on the road as i'm going back to Bristol next week.
