After a good garage for exhaust
 

So my brothers bought an (ass) bandit 650 2007 and we are due to pick it up on tuesday.

It come with a standard exhaust and the first thing my brother wants to do is put an 'alf decent full length one on.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good full length aftermarket can? And does anyone one know a good place to get it fitted?

We live close to an ESB but i'm pretty sure they'd be expensive.

I'd get your ass down to Quill in Warrington (area), they'll make anything you like

You can fit an exhaust your self save your self money on the fitting then buy an even better one.

Oh, to answer your other question, Scorpion make nice cans, I've got a Ti Oval on my SV and love it to bits, makes a lovely noise after the baffle *ahem* fell out.

If you really aren't confident fitting it yourself - try giving Lee & Barney at B&C Performance Tyres a call and see if they'll do it for you. They're in Farnworth and the mainly do tyres (the clue's in the name really) but they'll do other stuff too. TBH it's a piece of p*ss to fit a can though - don't know if the OEM can on the Blandit needs cutting or not but even if it does it's not that hard, I did mine with a hacksaw but an angle grinder would make short work of it!

I would go beowulf all day. They can fit them too, but TBH so can anyone.

Can slips over the joint so workmanship can be as shoddy as you like :-P

If your worried, i can give you a hand, but you really can't begger it up.

you cut the old can off, slide the link pipe over the cut, stick the new can on. Clamp it all up and bingo, job jobbed. If you've got an angle grinder it'd be easier just us some cardboard to protect the frame etc from sparks.

Hehe, first thing he said is that the baffle would accidentally on purpose be displaced into the garage.

Has anyone ever heard a bandit? Next to the SV they dont really sound of anything lol, they are so quiet; V twin all the way!

I've got a beowolf on my SV, which lacks a baffle and sounds immense.

Thanks for the offer Ste, i dont think we have anything like that, reckon we'd be lucky if theres a hacksaw knocking around. Does the clamp etc come as part of the exhaust kit?
