DVD-athon? Interested, sign up.

After reading the 10 decent films http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=157037 thread my brain did something strange....it came up with an idea.

We get a list of 10 - 15 people. Each person selects 1 DVD from their collection and posts it to the next on the list. You will only need the address of that one person and each week, say on a Monday you'd post the next DVD to them. Each week you'd recieve a DVD from the person in front.

Eventually you'll have watched all the DVD's in circulation and you will get your own back.

This has to work on trust, DVD's could be posted on a agreed day, recorded so they're insured.

Only pick a cheap DVD's (DVD as ot's the most common format), not one of your prized collectors editions. And something that everyone may not have seen.

Edit, but that would be illegal, so we won't do that.

But I have an unwanted DVD that some poor unfortunate might like to be given......please read my next post.

Is this Legal? and does it break the terms and conditions for the forum use? I've seen a forum deleted (completely) for a very similar thread.

FFS.

OK then who wants to give one of their old DVD's to a poor old biker that can't get out on his bike during times of hardship, recession, adverse weather etc.

Each week you send and unwanted DVD as a gift to your favorite biker.

Better. Not illegal to give DVD's as a gift......imagine that at Christmas.

Don't bloody "FFS" me for trying to keep you (and the forum) out of trouble! :D

This happened on a fishing forum I used to frequent and it was deleted out of existance for breaking their terms and conditions. No warning, no second chance. Gone!

It was also a Vbulletin board. Same as this one.

You want to lose the Org site for the sake of a borrowed DVD?

BUY them (for a penny) by all means ;)

Each week someone recommens a movie and whoever wants to take part can go out and rent it... not dowload of course ;)... and give their verdict on this thread or a thread made specifically for it?
