Re: Rear indicators

Those would be a straight swap for a curvy SV (99-02) but they're different to OEM for your pointy 05.

I *think* the pointy indicator, apart from looking different, has a smaller diameter fixing bolt and the cable is beside the bolt rather than through the middle. If I'm right, then there might be issues fitting it - but I've never tried. I can definitely tell you it's not the standard indicator for your bike.

Re: Rear indicators

why not just get some mini indicators, look much nicer than those and only cost like £5 more

Here's an original style indicator to suit the rear of your bike (I assume it is the rear you've been looking for?) It's actually a pattern part, not original Suzuki.

As for mini indicators, they tend to be universal fit and there's loads of different types available. Ebay, your local bike shop, any bike accessories website will all be sources you could look at. Just get what you like the look of.

The very cheap ones (like £8 a pair) tend to dismantle themselves quite quickly.

If you go for led's rather than bulbs you will probably find the flash rate is too fast and you'll need to wire in a relay to correct it.

IMO mini-indicators look nicer but OE are better at letting people know where you are going. :)

Brightness is one element, but I think the sticky-outiness of the originals, combined with a much larger lens, makes for a better signal. Having said that, I've got minis too. :)
