stops carp getting in your front plug, well worth it, no cons

thats what i thought originally but i have a small flap of plasticy rubber that hangs infront of the front plug area, not sure if thats standard or if crap still manages to wriggle its way in.

Buy a couple of alloy number plate bolts at the same time and use these to fit. Looks much nicer then the self tappers provided. Will post a pic when I get chance.

No issues except that

Fender Extender stuck on with Evostik flexi bond stuff. Looks better than screwing it on and is really secure.

A Fender Extender and some silicone grease around the HT lead will stop the front spark from getting water into it and cutting out.

The flap on the pointy is a poor effort at solving the problem just like the pointy bike itself ;). The fender extender does the job. I was a sceptic about the whole thing and covered 30k before the problem arose. Fitted one, and done another 38k without any issue to date so it works. Mine as always been self tapped into place. Its in a place to you dont really see so not that bothered.

See YC, think he made his own out of a drain pipe and gaffer tape :D

I think this is a benefit, at least on a non-black bike since the black fender extender still maintains the appearance of the short front mudguard, especially with black wheels.

I put mine on with button head stainless screws and nylocs - I have a bit of an aversion to self tappers and didn't trust the adhesive tape by itself.
