Proper urined off ...
Firstly, dont touch my thread title, cos that will take me over the edge.
o2 and apple need to be ****ing shot. That POS 3GS iphone is ****ing **** and called them today to tell them this. Ive had this contract exactly 30 days today, the phone has been useable for probably half this period, it was replaced on the 4th Sep, which does exactly the ****ing same as the old one. No ****ing service keeps coming up randomly, could be after 30 mins could be after 5 hours. Once this comes up, it will NOT come back into service unless i turn it off and back on again. Anyway useless bint on the phone help desk said nothing she can do can i take it back to the o2 store to be sent away for inspection /repair. Im ****ing self employed, i aint got ****ing time to run about trying to sort this ****ing phone out, the final nail in the coffin, i dont even get another iphone as a loaner, i get another POS, which will probably have signal all the time. I had to pay £89 upfront for this ****ing POS as well cos the the 8gb versions were out of stock and pay £35 a month for 2 years. So to say im ****ing annoyed is an understatement :smt013:smt013:smt013:smt013 |
Re: Proper urined off ...
so glad I never dealt with 02 ever.
That is ridiculous, they should change it no quibbles with the newness of the handset/ contract. Feel better for ranting |

Re: Proper urined off ...
You were had! I payed £99 for the iPhone 4 for unlimited txts and internet and huge amount of calls only £30 for 2 years on 3, signal is great after being told by all the other networks that if I switched I wouldn't be able to get any signal with 3! More proof of the robbing b*st*rds O2 are!!

How does the sim work in other devices ? Also, just take the iphone into the apple store and they will swap it there and then you.
If you don't like it keep the new replacement with seals and place into your box and sell it on eBay you will get near what it costs new. And buy a different phone. I would suggest geting a replacement simcard jus off the off chance as it does happen I see it quite often with my mobile fleet at work around 300 users and you do get dodgy ones now and again. |

The last o2 operator was brilliant tbh, he went through the standard things and one of them was to put my sim in to my wifes 3G and it worked fine as did hers in mine. But the phone at the time was working at that particular time so wouldnt have noticed a problem anyway. What i might try tomorrow is take my wifes 3G to work for the whole day with my sim and see what happens. Id love it to be the sim, i really would. BTW, the woman at 02 said they cant just replace it at apple either. it would have to be sent away for an engineer to look at it, apparently. |
