I've always said that everyone should own a 2 seater drop-top at least once in their life - well my time is now
The twins have christened him Bumblebee :-) |
Re: Supervox has a new toy :-)
You, my Dad and my bro could talk for hours
Bro has a MGB GT and my Dad has a MGB V8 and MGB GT, dont intrest me in the slightest (tell a lie my Dads got the V8 lump out atm which is a bit more intresting) So is it a project then or fully running for trips down to the coast? |
Re: Supervox has a new toy :-)
It's a runner - although it's running very rough & weak at the moment - but my brother-in-law reclons that with a service, a tune up and a little TLC it'll be sweet :-)
A few paint bubbles & general lack of care and attention by previous owners means that it's not the prettiest one around - but then I didn't buy it as concourse car !! I just fancied a little runabout for a while & for £1200 it seemed a reasonable buy :-) |

Used to put my, daughter when she was just a few months old, in the carry cot in theback of the MG Roadster. She'd giggle a lot then fall asleep.
I also had a Triumph Spitfire Mark III for w while. Was a bit of heap but I loved it. Just too darn unreliable to have as the only mode of transport, with young kids, though Love those old soft tops |

Mrs B had a Spitfire as an everyday car for several years, and I had a TR6,totally impractical, but great fun. Both were surprisingly cheap to run as long as you didnt need to rack up lots of miles.
