Gearing for Aintree

Hello all,

No replies would indocate that either no one knows or it doesn't matter. :)

Just run standard (15/44 or 45) and change if you find a need to.

Thanks Berlin. Bike has 14/45 fitted so will swap the 14 for a 15 and see what happens!
Thanks again

Don't bother changing it until you've riden there. You can always change gearing betwene practices.

Just go with 14/45 and see how it is. if you have a dodgy gear change position in a bend or are topping out in 6th then change but I'd just go with what you have on until you've seen if you need to change..

Hi, i ran standard gearing there last month(15/45) and was on the limiter half way down the back straight and having to back off,so i wouldnt run the 14 front,if i do the next meeting il be putting a 44 on for that few extra mph..hope this helps pal

Its got one of the longest straights in the country, standard gearing I would say.

Thanks all. I'll go with 15/45 and see what happens. Probably a bit irrelevant as this is my first meeting so I'll be wobbling around at the back trying to stay out of trouble!
