Even though I missed the first half of the movie, I was close to tears at the end.

Wonderful and very emotional film.

Cracking film. Seen the bike in Invercargill, did some donuts on that beach as well in the Falcon :-)

YC and me have been meaning to watch this for ages, got in on Sunday night and we'd missed the first half hour but had to watch it anyway. I was in tears at the end, the sense of achievement and pride that he did it! And Hopkins was amazing, as usual. Stunning performance, one of the best films I've seen in a while.

Fab film with a wonderful message about ambitions and dreams. What a guy he was and beautifully played by Hopkins. Managed not to cry, but only just. Friends came over for dinner with the DVD and we watched it while stuffing our faces with chocolate. A perfect evening in.
