Re: full systems - what to go for vs price performance
Someone is selling a nice LeoVince "Tappered header" system in the For sale section.
I suppose really, you have to either search ebay or the classifieds on here....unless you're gonna buy new. |

IMO, it don't look all that good.....but could be the photo!
If I were you, and had the pennies, I'd get a "proper" system, like Leo/Akra/Hindle etc, where you'd hope that some kind of R+D has gone into the design, length, shape and materials used. If you're just after a replacement exhaust, I have a 10 mile-old standard system from my K9 you can buy off me and modify!!?? ;-) |

A full Hindle system has done us proud this year and with added lagging and Lambda sensor points on each cylinder downpipe given us the BHP desired for the BMCRC minitwin series. One advantage with the Hindle is that the Can itself - made of Ally and circular section - is more than repairable if mashed. Have taken ours to Mark Hill at MHP more than once after offs and it comes back like new, straight and shiney saving ££££££'s from replacement costs. |
