New tyre advice needed?

There's so many choices i cant decide!!!

I use my bike for leisure and ride when the weather is good on dry roads so was thiking of going for sport tyres for a bit more grip.

What are your recomendations + experiences?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers, Duncan

A sports touring will be as good as a sports for the road and last a fair bit longer.

you live in scotland m8, it will rain at the flick of a switch. sports tyres take a bit of time to heat up and you generally have to keep the heat in them to get the best out of them.

Avon Storms were ace on the SV in dry or wet. the Storm 2's are reported to be even better and last longer.
