Ashes 2010/11 thread
Don't know if anyone else on here is following, but as it's a matter of national pride I thought it was worth a thread.
Looks like a brilliant start... Captain losing his nerves and South Africa to the rescue. It's going to be a stressful series. |
Re: Ashes 2010/11 thread
just play one game and be done with it. 90 minutes.

Re: Ashes 2010/11 thread
I stayed up all night. Made a duvet nest on the sofa. May well do the same over the next few nights as I've booked a few days off work. I've already warned the family that on Christmas day this year I shall be taking a power nap at 6pm to prepare for the start of the Boxing Day Test on TV.
At least working at Lord's means that most of the staff will be up watching it so we're all as knackered as each other. The senior management have gone to Aus so aren't around to moan about us all being tired at work. |
Re: Ashes 2010/11 thread
Not many cricket fans on here then? Lol
Can't say that I blame you - not the way England play. |
Re: Ashes 2010/11 thread
Even if you don't like cricket you have to admire the way England are playing. Cookie's knock made this Essex girl very proud and seeing Ponting get a golden duck was magnificent today. I'm once again making my bed on the sofa so I can watch for most of the night. Come on England!
