Yad Moss ski slopes

Has anyone been to here? If so is it ok for novices? I'm driving 5 of us up there on 11/12th Dec & 1 of th girls has only been to chill factor in Manchester for 2 lessons. I want her to come but equally I don't want her death on my conscience! :) emailed the place a couple of days ago but as yet no reply. Buried in the snow perhaps? :-k

Must have rode past this dozens of times on my way to alston & never noticed it. On poss my favourite road the B6277 with hartside on your doorstep. If the place is any good I think I might have to move up there, biking all summer snowboarding all winter :smt039

We did! The journey up there was 'interesting' to say the least :smt103 there was as much snow on the roads there as there was on the slopes

Good snow coverage, good slopes with some ramps to get air off and if you aim for a gap in the far wall you end up in a valley that most dont venture into. Was doing a bit of slaloming in there with my mate! most of it was newbie friendly too. With the exception of the tow lift, worth going just to see people trying to grab hold of it :laughat:

Not sure what its like up there right now but was a good day out would well recommend it :D

Police blog seems to give good info on road conditions.
