Thinking about ordering some of these. Yay or nay ? i did have a few falls last year in the ice lol. Cheers Ant |
Re: Snow/Ice Riding
What happens if you break when the part of the tyres between the claws is in contact with the ice? Surely you'd slide.
And with the amount of snow we get I reckon these would start to shread your tyres due to lack of snow. I think not... |
Re: Snow/Ice Riding
i would check if there even legal in this country, as i know snow chains are only permitted in extreme weather
|
Re: Snow/Ice Riding
Ridiculously expensive for what they are, and you'll likely destroy them the first time you hit treated roads
If you think you need snow chains make your own and try it, at the elephant we all made some and nobody used them, waste of time |
Re: Snow/Ice Riding
maybe nay then,
ill just try to stay up right this year. i know on treated roads they would be no use but last year it was quite bad and only seemed to be the motorways that was clear if i remember correctly around here. |
Re: Snow/Ice Riding
That's one way to f*** your wheels

Re: Snow/Ice Riding
