What happens if you break when the part of the tyres between the claws is in contact with the ice? Surely you'd slide.

And with the amount of snow we get I reckon these would start to shread your tyres due to lack of snow.

i would check if there even legal in this country, as i know snow chains are only permitted in extreme weather

Ridiculously expensive for what they are, and you'll likely destroy them the first time you hit treated roads

If you think you need snow chains make your own and try it, at the elephant we all made some and nobody used them, waste of time

maybe nay then,

ill just try to stay up right this year.

i know on treated roads they would be no use but last year it was quite bad and only seemed to be the motorways that was clear if i remember correctly around here.

Illegal in the uk i think?, and they arent covering enough of the tyre, arent there
