Insurance - No claims

I was just wondering, if you could use your no claims from car insurance for motorbike insurance coz i have 4 year no claims on the car and only one for the bike

Nope not directly, Although most insurers will ask and take into concideration your use of a car and NCB when giving a quote.

Nope, I had 6 years NCD from a car but have not owned/insured one for a few year now so they are now lost.

Sucks really.

No but you could possibly get some bonus road experience points with a 6 wheel type policy. Something like THIS

As others have said, no.

Turning this t'other way round for a moment. My lad has 3 years no claims on his bike insurance. He's just passed his car test, and they won't transfer that.

Now considering bikes are the evilest things known to man, you would have thought 3 years without a claim would have given him some credits in the insurance dept - really pi55es me off !

Especially as if you have an accident on one policy, you have to tell the other insurer.

youd be suprised, mate of mine, passed her test and got a 1.3 OLD fiesta off her parents. so contacting insurers, the highest she was quoted was £5400 TPFT and the lowest (the one she had to get) was £2500 TPFT, its ridiculous, im staying on a bike for life
