I don't think it's harsh. We always moan that benefit frauds don't get treated harshly enough...this is a man with substantial wealth who has chosen to evade paying taxes when millions on pitiful wages do.

They've made an example of him....good!

He won't do all that time, which is why it's good that it's 3 years. It means the actual time he serves will not be a kick in the guts to decent tax payers. He'll also be in a nice cushy minimum security prison, not with nasties...just with other fraudsters and dodgers.
