Arlen Ness 1064 boots?

Hi

I hope this is in the right area - if not, sorry -

Does anyone have or know of anyone with the Arlen Ness 1064 race boot? Just happened to stumble across them on the George white site and they seem to have an ok deal on them. I`ve read a few reviews and have read nothing negative, but if someone can offer further advice / opinions I would appreciate it.

Fanx.

Just saw the deal, for that price bud just get the race boots. They look ace and like they've got good torsion control so what else could you want!

I had a pair. Within a couple of months of light use the velco on the zip cover started to part company with the leather it was stitched to.
The replacement pair did exactly the same thing - despite me being very careful with them. I swapped them for a pair of Alpine Stars.

Not impressed with them at all - and the shop did say I was the second person to have this issue.

For £69 they might be worth a punt though.

I've got a pair.

Like Amnesia, mine parted on the velcro but were quickly repaired by the importers.
Really comfy boots (more so than any of my A* boots).
Arlen Ness do make some great kit, I am using one of their 2 piece leathers too and are very happy with the overall quality of their kit.

Tonyt, the reason that they are still available in the UK is that its not as overpriced as some and the quality is there to back up the price, as are the aftersales.
