10,000 times cheaper!
I remember getting exited about upgrading my 40mb hard drive to 80mb on my old 486. At the time it cost just under £100, and I remarked how prices are falling, its now almost £1 a meg!
Fast forward to today, just bought a 500gb pocket drive for backups for £50. Thats 10,000 times cheaper than 20 (ish) years ago. I would never have predicted that, ever. |

Re: 10,000 times cheaper!
I just bought a couple of seagate external drives to pull apart for my media pc.
Maplins are doing the external 2tb for £90. Odd thing is, the 2tb is cheaper than the 1.5tb and the externals are cheaper than the internals. Buying power I guess. |
