Acu Licence help
Hi on sunday my dad let me do a track day on his gsxr600 track bike round mallory park, i really got into it so i am now looking at buying a track bike but i have a restricted licence and he mainly goes to cadwell and i am not allowed to go round that track with my license. So how much work is involved to get a acu licence as i have read through a few old posts and from what i can gather i need an eye test, join a club(any recommendations) and attend a test and fill in some forms other than that what else do i need to do. Thanks Brad.

Re: Acu Licence help
If you dont have a bike license you will need to do an assessment day as well as the training day which normally entails going round Pembry without falling off.
Then there is the written test done in Rugby £50 or £99 at an MSV or Hottrax event. Then eye test If you have heath issues you need a Doctors cert but normally not needed Then join a club from £12.00 to £30.00 Then send eye test, assessment, test pass and membership to ACU with your fees. Its all on the ACU website www.acu.org.uk |

Re: Acu Licence help
I think Derby Phoenix may be your nearest club but I'm not that familiar of clubs round there.
I also think Donnington has its own club too I know they have the Duke of Donnington race (or something like that). |
