What have you lost on the road either from your bike or luggage?
 

I was just thinking about a time I lost my trainers and some clothes on the A1 from a ruck sack I was wearing whilst on my SV.

What have you lost either from luggage or that has fallen off your bike?

a very heavy bar end mirror i was racing (i know i know bla bla) and caterham 7 and 2004 fazer 1000 down the fosse way then got to the mile straight and went round the sharp left hander that leads to the straight, i gunned it just after the corner, got past the fz and looked down to the left and my mirror was gone :s lol

ohh also lost my wallet after forgetting to do my pocket up, but got that back

My tax disc (complete with half the holder)! I didn't even realize until my phone rang at work - it was the police station in Caerphilly saying someone had actually handed the tax disc in and that I should come and collect it!

Meanwhile the two tea towels as I used as an impromptu blanket to protect my fairings against Hovis' panniers somehow didn't work their way loose and detach onthe M4 at (spirited -legal Ed.) speed.

I think a certain madlander once lost his stubby exhaust......He didn't notice either until he got home :rolleyes:

hundreds of cigs, ive lost count of the amount of fresh 20 decks have went in the wind

Lost my passport on a (spirited!) blast up to Heathrow when running very late for a flight once, somehow worked its way free from the top pocket of my rucsack. Luckily lovely check in lady let me on anyways with valid photo ID, getting home again was decidedly more tricky!!
