Pointy R/H engine case fit Curvy?
Can you fit a pointy rh engine case and clutch cover on a curvy?
Fed up of the one on my track bike dripping |
Re: Clutch cover
I don't know if the designs are the same, but why don't you stick it on a lapping table and give it a good once over? Reassemble with a new gasket and a bit of hylomar, job's a goodun!

Whats a lapping table?
Tried new gasket, tried the best sealent money can buy (well £30 a tube). |
Re: Pointy R/H engine case fit Curvy?
Basically a uniformly flat surface. Get a sheet of very fine sandpaper that's big enough for the whole cover to sit on, stick it on a glass coffee table (cause they're usually nice and flat) and rub the mating surface of the cover over the sandpaper in a figure of 8 motion. If you put some permanent marker on the cover before doing this, you'll see the high-spots where it's not flat, which will probably be where it's leaking.

Well it will probably be leaking from the low spots... but yeah
