Tastefully modified GS500

Ok so my mate's brother has only gone and bought a GS500...not sure if he asked anyone for advice before buying but thought we'd put it up for discussion ;)

Apart from the obvious amount of crap off the road that will spin up off the back wheel, the fact there's no storage space apart from a tankbag, it looks hideous, has blatantly been crashed and owned by a heavy gorilla of a chav (YC's words)...it's a cracking buy...right?

Looks ok for £720.

I'd now go and find an original rear end and end can though!

Erm. Better not to comment seeing as it's a member of your family who has already purchased it. Me not likey though.

for 720 quid its alright, but I'm with YC been crashed.

I'd be hunting for a GS500 subframe and plastics IMO

what, no it's not a relative, it's a mate's brother! No relative of mine would be so silly...oh wait a minute yes they probably would...

I don't get why you would spoil a perfectly good gs500 as a first bike and get a mutilated one.

all bolts have been changed to stainless steel allen key bolts
You might want to replace them on the stressed components...:pale:
