water pump problem?

hi all,can anyone help me.ive noticed that when i take my oil filler cap off theres a white emulsion on it.does this mean that the water pump seals are gone?there is no sign of water in the oil in sump so hoping that its not head gasket.if it is the pump does anyone know where i can purchase o-rings and crankshaft gasket from in the uk.thanks to all.....jc.

Probably not.
Presuming all is as you've described, that is that there is a small amount of emulsified oil on the inside of the oil cap, but that the oil itself (and indeed the coolant) are both clear an normal looking then this is likely some condensation on the inside of the motor.
Short journeys tend to mean all the water vapour in the motor doesn't have time to leave the system entirely, leaving you with what you see.
