Break out the ass-less chaps, I got me a cruiser!

Check out my new ride! It's low, mean and as sweet as butt-cheeks in tight leather!

No.

Not really, it's is the most awefull piece of junk I ever had the misfortune to straddle. There is no rear suspension, every single ripple and bump jars your spine which is curved 'cos of the riding position. The forward pegs are OK, but on the motorway, you have to work to keep your feet out there. The headlight is as much use as a candle in the wind.
I just giggled my way up the M61 from the M60 with the throttle pinned wide open the whole way. Everything overtook me!
My back is killing me and I only rode 16 miles.

Piece of cr@p.

Good job my Tiger will be back from service later today.

Pete ;)

Is that the America or the Speedmaster? Either way, it's an abomination.

I still wouldn't mind a Bonnie for commuting though. The Tiger, whilst great on motorways, isn't the best tool for filtering in London.

It's an America. You can tell by the way it's fat, slow and useless. There's a lot in a name eh?

Pete ;)

I'm surprised, good turning circle, high viewpoint...
Compared to low and long?

Probably best thing I've ridden for really 'orrible traffic was a little XT 250 or 350, can't recall. It was more nimble than a push bike anyway.

Top heaviness and wide bars do not make for a good filtering bike. The Speed Triple was far better than the Tiger in London traffic.

The fact that it's got AMERICA in big letters written on the side panel gives it away ! :smt082

I agree that the bars are a bit wide, but I promise you, you don't want an America.

I tried to get a new Tiger 800, but it's too new apparently.

Pete ;)

There's no chance of me getting an America. I'd rather have another Harley!

I think they look really cool, never ridden one though. From Wylies (l;ocal Triumph shop) I only ever get the knackered Dullsville as a loaner. Except for last time when the previouis loanee didn't bring it back, their spare CBR RR had a flat battery, so I had their new Striple. Now that was nice:cool:

Pete is this the bike you had when you called round?
