Who hasn't done their tax return
 

Last day tomorow but you need an online filing number. As I understand it you only get clobbered for the £100 fine if you haven't paid them what you owe in tax.

Yep done mine last week, but, I have been let off 4x£100 fines before by pleading innocence.
They can be lenient if got a good reason.

I had a demand for 3 x £100 fines several years back and politely reminded them that I had moved house three years earlier, sent them a letter about it, and it wasn't my fault if they ignored it. Fees waived (hoorah) but I had to complete the three missing self assessment forms (boo). Thankfully my income is all taxed at source so they decided to stop sending me the forms shortly afterwards.
