Wonky after blown over!

Afternoon.

I've got a SV650s K4 and I'm loving it.

Long story short it got blown over today and I seem to have gotten away with very little damage. No scratches or dents apart from the exhaust can which I'm replacing anyways.

Main reason why I'm posting is that the yokes do not seem to be in line now? The forks look straight but when travelling in a straight line I'm turning to the left!!!

To fix this is it just a simple case of loosen all the clamps for the forks and the top yoke nut and realign?

Thanks for your info in advance.

Yeah should be, maybe a clipon got knocked around a bit or bent, that can give illusion too.

Cool beans. It looks like the mirror has taken a lot of the weight of the bike as it's bent down a little, also the front sub frame is going to need a little helping hand to get it back where it should be.

I know it sounds obvious, but don't undo all the fork clamps with the weight of the bike on the front wheel...

IMO, having had this exact same thing, only undo the top pinch bolts, you can then jostle them back into normality.

You could even put front wheel against a wall if it needs more persuasion.

All they have done is twist in the yokes and stay there, once released they should go back.

Forks prob not bent but could have twisted in the yokes. Dno if that's what people are saying above!

Needed to fit a new chain and sprockets on the weekend and eventually got round to straightening everything up. Don't think I needed to but I loosened the top yoke nut just to make sure the forks could move, it needed quite a bit of force but looks like I'm all good now.
