I like to do mine bit by bit. As in, when I take a bit off to fix it I'll clean it.

fairplay to the guy but i'd rather give it a blast with a steam cleaner then be out riding the thing instead of spending hours cleaning it on a dry day

Dude, get a life! My old girl only gets washed when it rains. Bikes should ridden ffs, it ain't a Harley :)
