Any one ridden on ContiMOTION tyres?

Following my recent puncture/wind/sail of a cover issue I have replaced my rear dunlop qualifier for a ContiMOTION.

I know its early days yet and the conti is more of a sports touring tyre n needs to bed in but i'm a bit unsure of it.... Dont think it heats up very good and just feels a bit less grounded.

Anyone else ridden on these tyres? if so how do you find them???

night and day regarding designed use,never used either but you have gone from soft to steel.So yeah it will feel poo

They don't usually recommend carp... I hadn't heard of these so I checked em out

It will be different to the tyre that was on there before, different good, different bad, or just different is the bit you need to get used to.

I've used a few of Continentals tyres and been happy with them. I would be very, very supprised if this was a "bad" tyre. It's profile and construction will give you a different feel, but I've happily done track days (and overtaken people) on less sporty rubber.

A lot of people think that "touring" is automatically worse than "sports" in all circumstances. The simple fact is that road tyres are not split into "soft" and "hard" with hard giving less grip. There is a lot more going on than that. In a road test a few years ago one of the Ex GP 500 riders was helping out (I believe it was Ron Haslam, but it may not have been) and cheerfully pointed out that the Bridgestone 020 tyres being used had a lot more grip than the slicks he'd been using in the 80s.
