My gauge is made by PCL, pneumatic components limited of Sheffield. Not Quinzu province. Just like this one Accurate, simple and as long as you don't lose it should last you a lifetime. |
Re: Tyre pressure gauge
the bloody batteries would cost you more than the pressure gauge itself,

Re: Argos tyre pressure gauge.
My dad has incorrectly pressured tyres on his car thanks to a cheap digital tyre gauge...everything was measuring higher than it was....I prefer the old fashioned gauges myself that are attached to pumps...

Re: Argos tyre pressure gauge.
Got myself one of these last week and very happy with it:
http://www.tyresonline.net/index.php...productId=1890 Seems very accurate compared to the "analogue" type that I have. Stick it in your pocket and away you go. |
Re: Argos tyre pressure gauge.
buy it, test it against a few nearby garages, take it back if its crap. Shall i do it and report back?

Re: Argos tyre pressure gauge.
I can't see any gauge being that far out to make any real difference and unless you have a way of calibrating/checking the accuracy, nobody will be none the wiser.
Bike or Ride magazine done a round up of gauges several months ago and found some expensive ones to be more out than cheaper ones. I think it's more important to use the same gauge over and over. |
Re: Argos tyre pressure gauge.
My dads cheap digital gauge had my tyre pressure at 41psi when it was 36psi....quite a difference there. We double checked with a standard pump with gauge that was know to be fine...it was a really cheap digital gauge though from Aldi I think
