Bucking Bronco Bandit 1250S.
A few days ago I was on a German Autobahn and accelerated my Bandit 1250S as my lane cleared, the weather was damp and cold, about 5 degrees. As the bike hit 128 it started bucking like a bronco. I have never had the bike to this speed before as I tend to stick to the speed limit in the UK as I just commute and my route is congested. Other than this the bike has been fine, it is low mileage.
Is there any known problems with the Bandit 1250 that can cause this? Thanks' Tim |
Re: Bucking Bronco
were you in the wrong gear and hit the limiter??

Re: Bucking Bronco
Do you mean it started pitching forwards and backwards,or was it a weave?Or was it hammering through the rear shock giving your &rse a hard time?
|
Re: Bucking Bronco
No, I was in top gear.
|
Were you drunk and accidentally jumped on a bucking bronco rather than your bandit?

Re: Bucking Bronco
Service issue then.BTW is the chain correctly adjusted and still OK? A badly sh&gged chain can cause those symptoms.

Fuel filter.
Spark plugs Blocked fuel line Shouldn't happen on new engine. Only just replacing the above on my 650 with 34k. tried BanditAlly? |
Re: Bucking Bronco Bandit 1250S.
How odd that it only done it at that speed?! Did you pull in the clutch to see if it was indeed an engine problem?
