Question for the police
 

You're off duty on a camping trip lets say with mates and some acquaintances, and one of the people busts out a joint and starts smoking it, and you know theyve got more.

Do you have any off duty responsibilities or just let it be?

If it were me, I'd just ask him to put it away for times when your not there. Being caught with him and having done nothing would be risking myself getting into trouble. But that's just me.

Police are never off duty so they are supposed to nick anyone committing any crime at any time.

Like someone said, we are technically never off duty, it's why we have rest days and not "days off" and I certainly wouldn't be risking getting myself into trouble for the sake of a pal having a joint. If I can't see it or smell it, then I don't know it's there.......
