Please note: It has not been possible to post this years accommodation until now because the campsite does not take bookings during the close season. The campsite opens in the next week so please do not book your accommodation till we give the green light.

I've spoken with the owners and they have availability for our group. Grant and me are going to see them tomorrow.

Here are a few Campsite Pics from the run up today. Please bear in mind it was cold, wet, grey ......and so was I :D

They open up in a couple of weeks but they may take your bookings earlier if they are available to answer the phone.

PLEASE NOTE that the LODGE is not available this year and when you phone to book you should mention that' your booking is for the SV650.org weekend.

There is a pub and a restaurant (that can serve approx 35) on site and they will do breakfasts.

I didn't ask these questions on Saturday but looking at the pricing the maximum price difference for a tent between the seasons is for a 2-4 Tent. So, using this example kids ;), for two nights the min you will pay will be £24 and the maximum will be £28. I would let you do the math but ..... drum roll ....that makes a £4 difference.

For Caravans it is even simpler as there is no price differential between seasons. It's set at £50 a night for a minimum of two nights.

Lance.... that is a dangerous statement to make. I will clarify at this point that you must phone up and book. The owner has stipulated this requirement. I am sure that it will be fine for the odd one or two but If peeps leave it till the last minute then you do so at your own peril.

anyone know if its possible to get a lodge/caravan/something other than a tent just for the weekend? I could only see week long bookings and I'd rather not drag a tent up as I reckon I'm going to be crashing at a mates the week after the gm.

I will reiterate that there is NO LODGE available. For the rest of your statement. read the campsite web page and these pages again.

Speedy Claire is correct.

£28 for a weekends camping, it would be nice to go to one of these events and not feel like I'm being ripped off. :(

A couple of folks have mentioned they have or are looking for spare accommodation or have spare accommodation available.
I've created a new thread here in an attempt to keep things compartmentalised. enjoy

little circle is us, larger circle is wigwams. the site with the wigwams has more than just wigwams.

Wee update, I spoke to the campsite and all of the caravans are booked, tents, call and book a pitch but pay on arrival.

On a side note there was some misunderstanding mainly due to computers not having eyebrows. In the interests of peace and lurve those threads / posts have been removed as they are no longer relevant. This was only done after speaking to those involved and to put it to rest. everyone iss happy and all is good. this will be the last mention of it. AS ALWAYS I'M REACHABLE BY PM OR FONE OR FB.
