Posting a frame?

As title really, I've a Yamaha frame that someone wants darn sarf. I've looked all over and can't find a definitive answer to how I would mail it. Does it need to be boxed, all framework wrapped etc etc.

Has anybody done this and if so how? What was the best option re price?

I posted a bmx once using uk mail. Cost £30 to the highlands.
I just wrapped card round it and used gaffa tape.

ABBA stands don't box their stands they just wrap them in a million miles of pallet wrap

Depends how big it is really. I'd try to box it personally, but worse case black bags if you can't find pallet wrap. Either way send it via a courier.

I've sent heavy stuff like paddock stands using this service before, in fact I sent a boxed up satellite dish the other day for £7.70. Next day delivery

I'd sent a double DIN car cd/radio by parcelfarce and that cost £8 with no cover, took 5 days to get there, never again.

They collect, its tracked and all you have to do is make sure the item is insured for the right amount.

I recommmend it to El Saxo to send me the Textile suit I'd bought off him, and it arrived no problem

Just wrap it well & it should be ok
