Retro fit, Curvy bodywork on Pointy?

Now I've been around the SV for a long time and seen just about everything done with them, but one thing I've not seen, and would be interested in would be a pointy retro fitted with curvy bodywork, given both are fun bikes to ride it's only a cosmetic thing, as it's now harder to find a decent curvy and personally the pointy design isn't to my taste it could be a good way of retaining the design aspect of the earlier model .....anyone seen one, or tried it ?

Cheers Mark.

I don't think it would look good, the best bit of the curvy is the frame, not the bodywork.

that's the thing about taste, everyone has their own, I doubt I'd like it actually, but never having seen one I thought I'd ask.

Might have a play with photoshop at some point.

Cheers Mark.

This is something that I have been saying for ages, well sort of. I do not like the curvy fairing and body work, but really like the Pointy plastics and rear light unit.

Like Chris, I think that the curvy frame looks really nice. However, I would love to see one built up with modern running gear and even FI. It would also need a deep braced swing arm and USD forks though.

There I said it, I like the curvy frame more than the pointy frame. Hmm, time to get another job and start a new project, off to check E-Bay for curvy frames! :smt080

I agree, but the bodywork is soooo ugly.

I've seen a curvy frame with a pointy sub frame, USD forks and streetfighter style lghts that looked really good, but those are few and far between.
