ok who's got a water meter?? how much a year on average do you pay??

my water rates have come at £377 this year but i live on my own and spend half the time at work,

would i save by having a meter??

we pay £183 per year and there is only 2 of us,that`s without a water meter.

sorry just realised you want comparisons from people with meters.

I used to pay £140 per quarter between myself and another.

They say you're better off having a meter the fewer people in the house (rule of thumb is more rooms then you have people). I pay £18 a month.

They are robbing feckers IMO, just ask your neighbours how much theirs is, they will all be different.

I fail to see how one house can be different to another if occupancy is the same, same house, same supplier etc, but they are !!

everyone ive spoken to about water meters say i cant loose,

mine works out to about £31 pm but i pay mine at mo in 2 x 6monthly payments,

i reckon i can get that down to £15 pm and then pay monthly not half yearly this would see a saving of nearly £200 per year!!

little gixer would be insured for nowt!!

my neighbour but one houses 2 adults and 3 kids and his is £330 pa £47 per year cheaper than mine?????

Used to pay more for myself in a one bed flat in essex than my parents did for a 3bed house with 2/3 people in it before I sorted a meter out

while you're at it sort your energy (and gixxer insurance) out using a comparison site or manual ring round and then use a cashback website like quidco or topcashback...andabout a year later you'll get a nice little surprise. I got £180 cashback from switching to a cheaper supplier.

I've always used a meter. I use average 170 litres water per day.
That works out at £22 PM including the sewerage and the street drainage which they also lump in
