Well used but maintained GSXR 600 - 1997 - £800
 

Here is my well used but much loved GSXR 600.

It has a lot of miles on it (48968) but it has been serviced by myself and used nearly every day for the last year with no problems.

It has got scratches all over it and bits of the paint have worn through and worn thin. Cosmetically, this bike is not anywhere near perfect but it is well used and 13 years old.

The colour scheme was the 1997 special edition.

Tax until the end of June 2011,
MOT until May 14th 2011

It has been dropped a few times, as it was my first bike but no structural damage has been done.

The bike has:

Crash Bungs,
Braided Lines,
Heated Grips,
New Gold DID Chain and sprokets less than 5000 miles ago,
Modified Tail with Shotgun Style Lights and Tail-tidy,
Double H Pads @ the front, with around 1000 miles use,
Callipers Striped, Cleaned & Rebuilt with New Seals Last Year,
New Plugs, with less than a 1000 miles use,
Both Hump and Pillion Seat,
New Battery last year,
Bridgestone 020 tyres, Plenty of tread on rear, less on front,

The bike does need an oil change!

I have also noticed that the bike can be a bit of a pain to start if it's sat unused for a week or more but it was never a problem to me as I used it daily. I have no idea why this is, the battery is good and the plugs are new.

The bike is located in Biggin Hill, I am available some evenings after 7pm and on Sundays.

I'm only selling as I bought a newer bike.

I sold my 1999 600 SRAD for just over a grand in far from perfect condition so this seems quite the bargain!
