The Ducati roadshow are gonna be at the Six Hills meet again this year. Tuesday evening 26 April.

They rocked up a bit late so only did the diaval and 1100 Monster Evo. Below is what I wrote on the Tuono forum:

The diaval is pretty unique. It feels genuinely light and rolls lovely around corners as long you plan appropriately. The one I rode one was set up in full-on 162bhp stonk mode and zero traction control, and can testify it would trounce a T on accelaration. Got a bit too keen in the latter half of the ride and wound it on then put it through a 15-20 degree corner only to be greeted by a pretty major tankslapper. Don't believe the MCN bull****, this is nothing like a sports/super naked. It's still a cruiser, but gotta confess I thought it was great in every respect as long as you accept it's zero sports potential.

The monster 1100 evo is a completely different kettle of fish, it's a serious contender to those who like the T. The engine's lazier, but riding the waves of torque is lurrvvely. From the relatively short time I had on it I thought the handling was outstanding. You feel more pitched forward than the T but less so than the Duc Streetfighter. I'm gonna get me a decent length test ride to find out more....
