A Friend of mine is selling her SV650 K2, Its a very reluctant sale, and she has loved and cherished the bike since she bought it after passing her test.
As you can see its in great condition, and has always been well looked after at no expense spared,

Here is the ebay advert she has put up, Viewing is highly reccomended, as the first to see will buy this well loved very reliable bike!!

Seems a little over priced i bought my SK2 from a dealer 2 years ago and only paid £2100 with 11,000 miles on the clock, Be interesting if it does go for that much.

Yeah, I'd assume this would be going for around £1200.

But... She's put a fair bit of new stuff on it (brake shoes, chain and sprockets new head bearings, etc, etc. So its worth more that £1200 IMO. If it needed all of that doing it would be worth that, Its also very clean. The devil's in the details.

But I agree that £1800 is quite optimistic.

just under 30,000 miles wonder if the valves have been checked. no mention about the valve clearances being done on the ad.
Mines in tidy cond with new tyres (500miles on them) 16000 miles, valves checked and adjusted new chain and sprockets last month hel lines just fitted new delkevic exhaust, nearly new zx10 shock fitted last summer and usual service things done and i wouldn't be expecting to get that much if i sold it now which is why i plan on keeping it for a while yet. would have thought £1400 might be more realistic.

The OP isn't selling the bike though all he's done is post a link to somebody elses bike on ebay. ;)

Similar black one on my local Gumtree going for £1200, although its got more miles

I bought mine for £1800 3 years ago
