sv exhaust cutting question.
Hi,
Whats the best tool to cut through the stock exhaust? |
Re: sv exhaust
i used a 6"grinder on my mates 650.
Like a hot knife through butter lol |
Re: sv exhaust
cheers mate, been using hacksaw so bloody slow :(

Re: sv exhaust
angle grinder :D
hacksaw would take a while through it, its double layered isnt it on the stock |
Re: sv exhaust
I've used a reciprocating saw on both of mine. One of these.
With the correct blade it's a 10 second job and no sparks. |
Re: sv exhaust
Be careful if you use an angle grinder, lethal if they catch which is quite likely on a tube!

Re: sv exhaust cutting question.
A proper hacksaw should be fine i.e. not a junior hacksaw

I used an ancient recip saw for my Viper can, blade got stuck on the packing and snapped it!
Big beasty grinder finished the job! |
