1999 curvy naked 650
hi guys,
its come to the time where i have to pass on the bike in order to make way for a car :( I have had the bike since aug 2010 and i bought it off of a guy who just never used it, but he had dropped it. So i wil get the bad points out of the way : you wil see in the photos there is a few small bits of rust, the exhuast can has a few scratches on it (but i have bought another one off of ebay and will be fitting it before the sale) the gear elector was snapped when the guy previous dropped it and so could do with a new one (i have made a make shift one and does me so i have not replaced it). the tach sticker has come away a little but its only the white background and is still readable. NOW FOR THE GOOD PARTS: The bike was motd at the end of jan (so runs out jan 2012)and needed a new front tyre so got one then. i have just ordered a new rear tyre, chain and sprocket set, front pads and caliper seals and so wil be put on before the sale. it has tax until end of jun. it has also just been serviced (oil filter, air filter and plugs. valve clearences done and carbs balanced). I have also put renthal grips and renntec bar ends on it as well. its only 23k miles (wil go up slightly as i use for commuting, approx 10 miles a day) IN OTHER WORDS THIS BIKE WIL NOT NEED ANYTHING APART FROM A GEAR SELECTOR LEVER!!!!! i am looking for in the region of £850 since i have just spent about £450 getting all this done to it. I really hope this bike goes to a good home, its done me proud and never let me down. any questions let me know cheers nathan http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/...IMG_0023-1.jpg http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/...8/IMG_0022.jpg http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/...8/IMG_0021.jpg http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/...8/IMG_0020.jpg http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/...8/IMG_0019.jpg http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/...8/IMG_0017.jpg http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/...8/IMG_0016.jpg |
