Weegie's New Bike

I've only gone and done it!! GSXR600 on an 02 plate looking mighty fine.

Braided hoses, steering dampener, alarm, wicked undertray, factory paintjob, bells and indeed whistles.

Pick it up in a couple of weeks. SV will be on the market tomorrow.

I'm so excited I could pee in my pants!!

I like Ian, looks mint. Enjoy the new bike!!

Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh perhaps at the Easter Run??

Will you be commuting in it year round like you did with the SV?

Aye, it is mate - braided lines, Akrapovic exhaust, lovely tail tidy, LED's. I love it and I don't even have it yet!

Is that the Yorkhill run?

Yup, will be using it on a regular basis so I'll be ACF50ing it and am also looking at a bike shed as I don't have a garage.

Picked the gixxer up just now. It's ace! Feels very high up compared to the SV and the power delivery is so different it's unbelievable. The suspension feels solid and I like the sound off of the exhaust.

It's strange having zero engine braking though and the biting point is miles off compared to what I'm used to.

Can't go out tonight but will try to get out for a few hours tomorrow to get some miles down.

Happy days!
