I went to a Harley-D shop...

...and although I didn't buy anything, I just wanted to say that they were the best/nicest bunch of sales people I've ever met. They were genuinly interested in what I wanted, not 'what they thought I should have'. So, thankyou Rachel for taking the time to explain in great details the pros and cons of HD clothing & accessories.

HD - Plymouth.

BTW - I didn't buy a bike (or anything else for that matter), but it was nice just to chat and not feel pressurised.

Does a visit to the HD shop make me a bad person?:smt048;):D

Well, I have to admit that I am beginning to lean towards the 'cruiser' design end of the market these days...however the HD's are a bit out of my price league...but i wanted to check out their clothing. I'm not conviced that HG stuff is all it's cracked up to be given the cost and all...so I'm trying to cover all angles.

Had the same experience at B.S. Bikes in Stoke. Local Triumph dealer & has won dealer of the year 2 years on the trot now.

I was waiting for my Daytona to be fixed, they offered me a brew & some toast (it was early lol) :). It was down to them that I have kept the Triumph (& the thou's fuel consumption). Couldn't have asked for better service

H-D are actually cool again, not nthe full dressers or the OCC type jobs, but stripped down 883/1200 bobbers with almost no screaming eagle parts. Lots of matt black and single seats for urban hipsters who can't tell the hornet from the bandit. That's right kids for non-bikers, H-D is just right.

Nope. I visit the HD dealer in Glasgow quite often, even though their cheapest 2nd hand (sorry, pre-loved) bike costs twice as much as my SV cost brand new. The coffee is the best for 5 miles in any direction and is free of charge to time wasters :-)

I'd buy a Street Glide in a minute. If I won the lottery. :-(
