Recommend me a Hypermotard..

A friend is looking for a bike (brand new) to wind through city traffic of the mad Mexican variety, out onto a motorway for a 10 mile blast, then into a residential area with lots of speed bumps, where an off road bike with long travel suspendies has a big advantage over the cars which have to slow down. He only wants mid capacity, definitely a twin or a single, he needs instant response, twist and blat!

He was thinking Ducati Hypermotard 796

I suggested KTM Duke 690, Aprilia Shiver or Dorsoduro, Yamaha MT-03, BMW G650

Kawaski Versys just too ugly and boring

They don't sell the DRZ-SM in Mexico.

Any other suggestions?

I asked my Grandma. She agrees with you.
