Ebay Billet brake/clutch levers

Ok, first off a warning to those you don't like trust anything Chinese and brakes, best leave now, :p

I bought a set of Ebay Hong Kong billet type brake and clutch levers form a company call Motormart, for the grand sum of £29 delivered.

Build:
The machining and material quality looks very good indeed. Machining marks are clearly visable on parts of the handles but very smooth and polished where your fingers go, screws are stainless nyloc type for the adjuster and pivots. The adjuster range of operation is large, 1 to 6, makes an obviously difference so would suit all hand sizes. Using 1 would have the brake lever touching the bars, /4 suits my large hands . The adjuster is very securely fitted into the handle.

Fit:
In one word, superb, these dropped straight in, better than the cast after-market types that came with the bike (K6)

Finish:
They look very good IMO, black with red. The anodising has some (pin size) holes and is probably not very thick. The dye is unlikely to be UV stable for long and I'm assuming they will fade over time.

Function:
They feel really nice to ride with, chunky but not oversize,. I had forgotten how much I like dog-leg levers.:D

Photos: The white around the pivots etc is PTFE grease or reflections not holes in the anodising.

Sure, I read all 23 or 24 pages of it first! There are about a dozen variants on Ebay right now so this was just to show what the Motormarts type were like.
Hence the warning on the first line, lol!

Helpful review, cheers.

You got a link for them? Like you say there are so many different ones. Also do they do some to fit the curvy?

Search ebay for:

Pro Clutch Brake lever for Suzuki SV 650 S DL 650

Gives lotsa choice, these are listed as 1999 to 2010, but you must specify exact model and year when paying.
[Plus regular size or shorty and colour]

I have a pair of the short version of these on their way, cost me all of £22 inc delivery.

Just stumbled across the auction with 30 mins left, they were at £5 bid with £10 postage, so I put £15 in and left it.

Then I got an email saying I had won at £12 :)

So, result :)

Same levers for Pointy and Curvy I think - certainly the brake lever is.

Cool, even better deal than £29! Friend of mine just ordered himself a pair too.
