Anyone recommend any good roads in Kent?
 

Hi all,

Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place.

I'm trying to improve my riding beyond commuting and have been going out after work in an attempt to do this. I commute from London and usually go down the A2 or M20 and pull off somewhere trying to find some good roads. What I'm after is 60mph country roads but I'm not really finding any. Any suggestions? Further afield routes welcome too as I'll being doing this on the weekend as well.

Hi Dave there is loads out there just go out and explore.
While your out there check out the A264 from Tunbridge Wells to East Grinstead.
The B2026 from Westerham to Maresfield and the B2028 off of the B2026 is a peach.

A28 from Ashford through Tenterden is good. Also if you turn off that road at Rolvenden onto the B2086 through Benenden to Hartley.

There's plenty of decent Br oads in the triangle between Tunbridge Wells, Ashford and Maidstone.

Cheers guys, just did A23 from London to East Grinstead then A264 to Tunbridge Wells - you're right, very good!
